Wrexham owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds deserve another pat on the back as a fresh announcement emerges.
Wrexham have executed a near-perfect strategy across the board this summer.
In terms of their recruitment, Phil Parkinson has signed six new players, including two goalkeepers, three defenders and a central midfielder.
The Reds have also offloaded eight of their first-team players, most notably Luke Young and Ben Tozer, who have both since joined Cheltenham and Forest Green Rovers respectively.
Wrexham are also a well-oiled machine in the contract department. Despite making a meal of Jordan Tunncliffles’s contract, the Welsh outfit have shown an appetite to keep hold of their best players, with Max Cleworth, George Evans and Tom O’Connor all signing new deals.
