Since becoming the owners of Wrexham AFC in 2021, Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s time in North Wales has been a whirlwind. Their 6-0 triumph over Forest Green Rovers last weekend secured their second consecutive promotion, marking their entry into League One for the first time since 2002.
Despite expectations that the Hollywood pair would manage the club from afar, they have demonstrated a hands-on approach, bringing global attention to the Racecourse Ground and putting Wrexham at the forefront of their plans. The duo frequently attend matches and are more visible than most club owners.

Off the football pitch, the pair have won the hearts and minds of the community with numerous charitable acts, including with hospitals, kit and foodbank donations, reports WalesOnline.
Last year reports emerged that Deadpool actor Reynolds, with his wife Blake Lively, had purchased a £1.5million house in Marford, just a few miles from Wrexham, although these reports are yet to be confirmed.
But while reports of a house remain unconfirmed, Reynolds and McElhenney have been staying at the Carden Park estate in Cheshire during their numerous trips across the Atlantic.
The luxurious 1,000-acre estate, which is around 10 miles from the ground, provides top-class facilities, such as a spa, multiple restaurants and golf course, which some of the Wrexham players have used themselves.
One of the two golf courses was designed by legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus and his son Steve. Carden Park welcomed the stars of 2020’s I’m a Celebrity, including Mo Farah and Vernon Kay, after they left Gwrych Castle.
There are different room options at different prices, with nightly rates starting at £169 and going up to £614 for a luxury suite.
Reynolds and wife Blake Lively, who has also visited Wrexham, are one of the most high-profile couple in Hollywood, with a fortune estimated at more than $350m.
It is yet to be confirmed if Reynolds will be in Wrexham again before the end of the season, although the final home match on April 27 against Stockport seems the perfect occasion for a visit to celebrate promotion. Reynolds’ Hollywood friends, such as Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell, have joined him on previous visits.
With the growing success of the club, Carden Park will likely welcome the Hollywood stars for more visits to Wrexham.
