Gary Lineker has been left intrigued by West Ham signing Niclas Fullkrug ahead of the new season.
The Hammers’ campaign kicks off on Saturday (17 August) against Aston Villa with the Germany international set to play a role.
The 31-year-old is one of eight fresh faces at the London Stadium and speaking on The Rest Is Football podcast on 16 August, Lineker has shown interest in the striker.
He said: “Fullkrug, which will be really interesting because obviously, he was the super sub for Germany wasn’t he at the Euros, he was at Dortmund last season, he’s a proper old-school number nine £27.5million.”
